Ukraine Aid

PickUp4Ukraine is a volunteer-organized initiative launched in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, supporting people wounded in the war. The association ensures that urgently needed aid is delivered — suitable vehicles for casualty transport, as well as medical supplies, equipment, and mobility aids. More information is available on the website > pickup4ukraine.org These life-saving supplies are funded through private donations and then transported to Ukraine at the initiative's own cost, where they are handed over to local organizations that distribute them directly to those in need. Consolida supports this valuable initiative by securing donations, sourcing suitable vehicles, and arranging safe transport into Ukraine.

Retla e.V. champions joy in life and social participation — at every age!

Loneliness is not a matter of age, but for seniors it is often particularly hard to act against it. When you are left alone after the loss of a loved one, when children are absorbed by work, when pensions are tight, when illness or dementia severely limit mobility, or when advancing digitalization makes social participation impossible — all of this, and much more, deepens isolation in old age.

This is how, in July 2019, the idea arose to found Retla — to counter the growing isolation of older people. Retla? Simply read it backwards!

The non-profit association uses entrusted donations exclusively for projects that serve the well-being of older people. These include the Retla Telephone Angel project, singing circles for people with dementia, digital support hours, multiple "Cycling Without Age" rickshaw locations, streetwork for older adults, dance and music projects, cultural events and sports programs — and many other valuable initiatives.
